Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) will be undertaking a statewide consultation process focused on the National Rating (NR) system/matrix, race programming and handicapping.
This initiative is in line with the HRNSW Strategic Plan and aims to gather valuable input from participants across all regions to help shape a more effective system moving forward.
HRNSW Chief Executive Officer, Peter Buckman, said:
“Race programming and handicapping is currently one of the most contentious matters in the industry. We encourage all participants to attend the forums and contribute respectfully. We have extended the roadshow venues to ensure all regions are represented and that participants have varied options to attend.”
HRNSW invites all participants – owners, trainers, drivers, breeders and other stakeholders – to engage in this important process and share their views constructively.
Meetings are to begin at 7pm at the following venues:
Monday 28/04 – Wagga Paceway
Tuesday 29/04 – Bathurst Paceway
Wednesday 30/04 – Menangle Paceway – Pavillion Bar
Thursday 01/05 – Newcastle Paceway
Monday 05/05 – Tamworth – Wests Leagues Club
Wednesday 07/05 – Penrith Paceway
Thursday 08/05 – Goulburn Paceway
Further updates and detailed information will be made available on the HRNSW website and through official communication channels.
