The final field for Saturday night’s Beautide in Hobart has been announced.

The winner of the $80,000 race will secure Tasracing’s slot in the world’s richest harness race, the $2.1 Million TAB Eureka, at Sydney’s Menangle Park on 7 September.

The final field in alphabetical order are:

  • Custom Harley
  • De Goey
  • Dukes Choice
  • Fighter Command
  • Iylac Pakaria
  • Nancestiger
  • Nyack
  • Reely Nauti
  • Smooth Machete

The barrier draw is available here.

If the winner of the Beautide cannot participate in the TAB Eureka before 26 August, then the next highest-placed horse from the Beautide will be offered to fill Tasracing’s slot.

The Beautide is named after the state’s best pacer in the modern era, who won the sport’s pinnacle race, the Inter Dominion, in 2014 and again in 2015, and more than $2.1 Million in stake earnings across his 49 career wins.

The Tasmanian Trotting Club has many attractions on track for the Beautide race meeting, including live music and guest speakers.

Dining packages are limited and can be made by phone with the Tasmanian Trotting Club at (03) 62 144 260 or by email admin@taspacing.com.au.
