Barrier Draw Audit
RISE Racing on behalf of State Controlling Bodies recently organsied for an audit of the Harvey RBD barrier draw program to verify the randomness of the draws to ensure it is performing as intended.
The independent auditor, BMM Testlabs, conducted the audit with the following scope:
- Confirm that the random number generator function is fit for purpose.
- Confirm that the application correctly produces random and unpredictable barrier draws from a uniform distribution.
- Confirm that the barrier draw is not influenced by any external factors such as trainers.
As a result of statistical testing, BMM confirmed that the Barrier Draw provides uniformly random data suitable for its intended application.
A copy of BMM's certificate of completion can be found here.
