Race 1:
OVERVIEW: HERAKLES (1) did his share of work last start and battled on well. Better draw here but up in class. Expect a strong showing. BETA THAN LOVE (8) has been racing well and goes best when smothered up and held up for a late burst. Ideal draw to get suitable conditions and won’t be far away. EYE SEE PHILTRA (3) talented pacer that has been freshened up and is one of the main chances along with the in-form GOOD TOBE LOCKSLEY (4) that always presents as a major threat. NIGHT SCHOOL (6) bursting to win for popular local trainer Stephen Boyington and can run well again despite the wide draw. STARZZZ DESTINY (10) closed late last start and was narrowly beaten and expect a similar showing here. SCHEMING (2) DAY TWO (5) and WEMADE FREO (7) all have good ability and must be respected in a very tough race with many in form horses. MY ULTIMATE SKEETA (9) is a first four hope.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: WAZOWSKI (1) will be improved by her last run when runner up and draws ideally here and back in distance should suit. Sure to get every chance. ROCKAWAY BEACH (3) placed at his past two starts and is racing well. Ideally placed over the sprint trip and is one of the main chances. OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (8) is racing with great zest for trainer Jeremy Quinlan. Drawn to get a good trip and can threaten again. INTERPETATION (4) a winner here two starts ago when leading throughout over this distance. Not out of this. JACKSBOY (9) LOVE WATCH (11) TUPELO BEACH (2) PARIS PRINCESS (6) DIRECT COMMAND (5) and ROAM (10) all have ability and can measure up here though will need some luck and suitable trips from their respective draws.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: SASSY GABBY (8) promising mare that has been superbly handled by underrated trainer Susan Hunter. Savaged the line from well back last start and just needs a few openings to be a major chance again here. BROADWAY BRENDA (1) recorded her first win last start for legendary trainer John Mclean. Drawn well here and though meeting stronger opposition must be respected. SPIRIT OF SAHARA (2) lightly raced colt resuming since September, showed good ability last campaign and expect a forward showing. IDEAL MOTH (5) was a winner at her race debut and then chased home some smart youngsters at her next few starts and competed in the Group One Vicbred Final. Resumes here and watch with great interest. HEAVENSGIFT (4) hasn’t been far away and does have gate speed to be prominent. Has claims. IDEN SIR FRANKIE (6) not far away at his first mainland run since arriving from Tasmania. Can keep improving and must be respected. WICKED MITZI (9) showed good ability at her last campaign and resumes here. Can run well fresh. HESAA LISTER (10) ALTATUDE (3) and ALAMO (7) all have ability and can’t be ignored in another open and competitive race.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: SIR SONNY MAGUIRE (6) resumes here after a short break and chased home stronger company last start. Strikes a suitable race and can run well. ANIMADO (4) has been finishing just behind the placegetters and looks suited here and can figure in the finish. SPORTY PHILTRA (9) joins the astute Mick Blackmore stable and resumes here and has shown ability in the past. A forward showing fresh would not surprise. KARUMA KEV (10) strong effort to win last start and must be respected again. Both DREAMERS DELIGHT (1) and SOPHIES SCOOTER (2) are much better than their figure form reads and improvement from ideal draws here would not shock. Keep safe. MUSSEL SHOALS (3) MARAKO SHARK (5) ALTA BAYAMO (7) and ROLLING REMONA (8) have claims in a tricky race.

OVERVIEW: CLIVES GIRL (9) got back onto the winners list last start for local trainer Charlene Gusman. Drawn to get a good trail and is one of the chances again here. DOOO DONT THINK (10) has been racing well and despite the challenging draw looks a major threat again. HIGHVIEW HAMMER (8) has been racing in stronger races and looks suited amongst these. Must be respected. Both SHEZABLUECHIP (6) and AMBER ALERT (7) returned to winning form last start and can run well again here. Both CONSPIRATOR (5) and PINNACLE HOPE (4) are better than their figure form suggests and can make improvement here. Keep safe. WELL WELL (1) GO GEORGE GO (2) and WELL THATS ALRIGHT (3) have claims.

OVERVIEW: AUSSIE MUSCLE (5) has been chasing home some good opposition in recent starts and looks well placed to be a winning chance here. PRETTYBOY HARRY (6) continues to race well without winning but is never far away. One of the main chances. JANSU (3) track specialist that enjoyed a great winning patch last year and is a major chance again here. LOTS OF CHANGE (9) strong effort to win last start for local trainer Patrick Ryan and despite meeting stronger opposition here, he must be respected again. FREE STARR (7) lightly raced 7yo that resumes from a long spell and has shown ability. Can run well fresh. GLENGARRY RED (2) capable totter that shows good talent though finds it hard to win. Not out of it. BULLPARK BENO (4) is a place hope. Both MAJESTIC CHARMA (8) and BUSLIN BRODY (1) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: SETTLE THE BILL (9) has relished the change of stables but performed well below her best last start but her prior form was excellent. Can make amends here. SUZYS DREAM (8) getting fitter with each run and hit the line strongly last start. She’s right in this LIZZIES SON (3) is trying to get back into form and will find this an easier assignment than last start. Can improve further here. CHRISTMAS BABE (7) consistent mare that is never far away and can make her presence felt again. SONNUMBERONE (10) did things wrong when first up and has shown ability in the past. Can improve and worthy of keeping safe. ABBIE (6) has been around the placings, and this is no stronger. Chance again. COL DU GRANON (4) recent form has been solid for a race of this class and has winning claims. HURRICANE JANE (5) honest mare that is never far away in this class and can’t be dismissed. Both MONTANA MUSCLE (1) and IVAR (2) have nice draws and are amongst the place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: Both first starters OWEN THE SAINTS (5) and LUVN OSMAN (7) show plenty of promise and have trialled nicely coming into this and expect forward showings from both 3yos. ROXELLA (3) ran well at her race debut and will have benefited from that experience and expect further improvement here. VILLAROCK (11) chased home an in-form pacer last start and is working up to a win. Must be respected. Both MID SUMMA (10) and A LOT LIKE PENDLES (4) are better than their race form suggests but struggling to produce on race day. Keep safe. IM HANK (9) is still learning and has place claims. JUDDLEY (1) LADY DEEKAYNWHY (2) and CRESCO BELLADONNA (8) are first four hopes.
