ALAKAZAM (2) made up a tonne of ground last start to defeat SCOOB OPERATOR by 1.8 metres. He will be right in the finish again tonight if he gets the right run.
PRIORITISE (1) will be a major chance off the inside draw.
JUSTANEXTRAGRAND (6) and UNCLE CHAN (3) are also chances.
Race 3:
HESASHARK (5) finds his race tonight. He meets a field that on his best run he could definitely defeat. If he moves into a forward position early he will be right in the finish.
ODINS BLACK CROWS (4) is also a major chance against this sort of field.
BUTTER CUP (1) and ULTIMATE ROCKER (7) are also chances.
Race 4:
WHITE STAR VILLAGE (3) loves racing here at Port Pirie and he always performs better with Ryan Hryhorec in the sulky. He should be very hard to beat tonight.
LORD VERDE (6) looks like the main danger. It may pay to watch his market moves.
ABOVE AVERAGE (4) and BOHEMIAN BRAIDS (1) look the next best.
Race 5:
BROOKIES BABE (5) has won two of her four starts since coming to SA. She can do things wrong but will be hard to beat if she trots smoothly.
LADY IN THE SKY (2), ALLEYES (1) and MAJESTIC TILLY (3) are also chances.
Race 6:
WHERES OUR MONEY (1) has been knocking on the door for a win over this last few starts. He gets a big chance tonight from the inside draw.
KULANI COURAGE (4), BETTERTHAN A KISS (3), and SAVERIO (2) are also chances.
Race 7:
BACKPADDOCKJACK (2) ran around the mark when he had his first few career starts back in the winter of last year. He returns from a spell tonight, his stable must be respected. He should be right in the finish.
