Race 1:
OVERVIEW: SOPHIES SCOOTER (2) capable filly with a suitable draw and this race looks ideal to be figuring in the finish. RONNIE THE HAMMER (1) gets a plum draw and should be primed fitness wise for this. Suited and expect a strong showing. HONEST HARRIETTE (8) good sit and sprint mare draws to get a soft trip along the pegs and if the openings come her way, she will be finishing strong. Definite chance. EPIC ORION (6) racing well and has been in good form and races well here. Close up last start and is one of the chances. FERRIGNO (7) will find this much easier than his past two starts, drawn wide but can make his presence felt. SIR SONNY MAGUIRE (5) change of stables, fitter from recent racing and no surprise to see improvement. Watch with interest. INSIDE LEG (12) fitter and wasn’t far away last start after enjoying a good trip. Tough draw but has claims. ART OF FIRE (9) is never far away and must be respected from a nice trailing draw. NOMORELYING (10) a winner three starts ago and is always a place hope.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: BET SHEZA LADY (8) is a consistent mare that is racing well though not having a great overall win record. Drawn to get a smother along the pegs and if the breaks come her way, she will be storming home late. THE MAJORS GIRL (6) should be primed for this after three runs back from a spell. Back to the sprint trip here is a positive and can figure in the finish. WINGATE GUY (9) gets a nice trailing draw and was just run-down last start. In good form and looks a major winning chance. ALIZA HILL (3) speedy type and will be in the firing line for a long way. Definite chance. Both LORIMERMAJOR (10) and OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (11) are never far away, ROCKSTAR LEO (1) has plenty of early speed and suited by the sprint trip, NOBLE JULIA (2) TOOBY GOLD (4) MUSSEL SHOALS (5) all have ability and can’t be dismissed.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: ON THE HUNT (6) talented mare that resumes from a spell. Didn’t fire at her only two starts last campaign but has shown in the past to have good ability. One of the chances in a tough race. VINSANITY (8) resumes and enjoyed a good campaign last campaign. Tricky draw but if the breaks go his way, he’s a major chance. BIG BAD OSSIE (7) resumes from a long spell and does have untapped ability. Easy trial winner recently, drawn wide but expect a forward showing. WIND SOCK (2) is race fit and was a big winner two starts ago and just behind the placegetters in slick times last start. Drawn well and there are plenty of positives about him. Both SPORTS WRACK (3) and KIA ORA BEAUTY (5) are speedy types that can race handy. Must be respected. IVANA BYTHESEASIDE (4) going very well and finished of off nicely last start and is not out of it. EYE SEE PHILTRA (9) WEMADE FREO (10) MADAM REACTOR (1) all have ability and can’t be dismissed with the suitable trips.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: CELESTIAL ZODIAC (9) arrived from Adelaide and finished off well against stronger company last start and gets a nice trailing draw. Expect a strong showing. BERYLS GRIN (2) is a speedy pacer that hasn’t been far away in this class and is one of the chances here from the nice draw again. FOUR STARZZZ RUBY (7) bolted in last start by leading throughout. Can run well again despite the wide draw. MYNAMEISRUBY (4) has started favourite at her past three starts in this class and has been in the finish. Can figure again. GLENS OF TEKOA (6) a last start winner and must be respected along with stable mates JOEYS HANGOVER (1) and PINNACLE HOPE (5) whilst ICANMOTOR (8) has found some good form and will be running on strongly late. Both HIGHVIEW HAMMER (10) and AMBER ALERT (11) are first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: MISS MAGIK (2) has been teasing for a while and looked set for victory last start however failed to finish off the last 50 metres. Strike a very winnable race and gets another chance here. CANT EAT OVERS (8) this looks an ideal race for him and just needs a few openings to be right in the finish. Won’t get a better chance. FIELD OF POPPIES (9) has been finishing just behind the placegetters and from the nice trailing draw is one of the winning chances. IMAGUNNARESTNGO (10) improved run last start and has claims along with stable mates BALLADORO (11) and LORINO (3), both STILL PLAYIN (1) and MIKIS JOE (4) can improve.

OVERVIEW: JANSU (7) has been racing with great zest and strikes another suitable race. Expect a big showing again here. Hard to beat. AMALIA PEARL (5) will strip fitter for her first up run and has ability when right. Expect improvement. NIGHT SKY (4) in good consistent form and should be well placed to figure in the finish again. SILVER SPOON (3) narrow winner last start and is one of the chances again. LIZZEIS SON (8) has been costly to punters by doing things wrong. Has ability but needs to be taken on trust. CASA ALBERTA (6) is never far away from the placings and can’t be dismissed. BROOKIES BABE (2) improved run last start and draws well and should be in this for a long way. MEADOWVALLEY LOVER (9) fitter, place and first four claims.

OVERVIEW: COURAGEOUS CAESAR (8) enjoyed a good trip last start and fought on well behind a progressive type. Suited here and with a nice trailing draw is a major chance. SIRLOU (5) is a well-bred 3yo youngster showing good promise at the trials and looks well placed for his race debut. Expect a big showing. VINCENT GRANGE (1) not far away last start and is a speedy type that gets an ideal draw over the sprint trip and will get every chance. JOHNNY TANG (2) has been thereabouts and from the draw will get every chance. SUMMER SCHOOL (3) RALTED (4) VILLAGE SUSPECT (6) and ALTATUDE (9) are first four hopes.

Race 8:
OVERVIEW: CYNICAL (6) nicely bred youngster in the astute David Thorn NSW stable and is sure to be well prepared for his race debut. Trialling well. Hard to hold out. MAD PUNTA (3) flew home last start and just missed. Going well and is bursting to win. FOURTH RESPONSE (2) debutante and a recent trial winner at this track and in the astute Craig Turnbull stable. Expect a forward showing. ALOT LIKE PENDLES (1) resumes here and is better than his figure form reads. Can run well fresh. SABITA (4) nicely bred filly having her first start for talented trainer Lisa Pitt and was placed in a recent trial at this track. Must be respected. FLIP A COIN (5) ran well at his race debut and will be improved further here with the race experience. Must be respected. IN AN IDEAL WORLD (7) going well and does have the race experience but the wide draw is a disadvantage. Has claims. LADY OF HOPE (9) has been in the market but placed only once from five starts. Place and first four chance.

OVERVIEW: BENNIE AND THE JETS (8) does have natural ability but proving to be risky having broken at his past two starts. Capable of winning but must be taken on trust. ABBIE (1) honest mare that was running on late last start. Never far away and can figure in the finish with a clear run. DANCES (3) good effort when first up and strips fitter from a nice draw. One of the chances. GLENGARRY RED (5) lightly raced trotter that raced keenly last start when unplaced but prior form was solid. Definite chance. YOU GOT ME GOOD (6) has been amongst the placings in recent times, but last win was in July 2023. Gets another chance here.
