Race 1:

 

OVERVIEW: BEAU BRONSKI (5) will appreciate drawing the front line over the sprint trip and looks well placed here. Not far away last start and should prove hard to beat. SEA HAWKE (2) not far away first up and draws favourably here to take up a forward position. Definite improver and can threaten. DI ANGELO (8) has produced some good performances in recent months and is one of the main chances from a nice trailing draw.  SELF EXCLUSION (7) hasn’t been far away in this class but does faces a wide draw to overcome here however can’t be dismissed. FLAMING LUCKY (6) disappointed last start with no run on. Capable of better. ALOOK TO LIKE (1) ASHARAH (3) ALLTHEWAYTOROYALTY (4) have front line draws and are amongst the place and first four chances.

Race 2:

 

OVERVIEW: TOPHUT JOHNY (9) narrowly beaten last start and this looks slightly easier. Gets a nice trailing draw and will be hard to hold out. SPECULATOR (5) good efforts in recent starts and this race suits. One of the main chances. NO EMOTION (2) has been working up to win after some recent placings and can fight out the finish again here. OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (4) resumes and does have ability and is locally trained. Might run well fresh. CELESTIAL DAYBREAK (3) returns to Victoria not having raced here since November 2017 for race start 427! Amazing! Might surprise! ONA MERRY DANCE (1) similar draw to last start when just behind the placegetters. Gets every chance again here along with JOHNNY REDCOAT (8) that will enjoy a soft trip along the pegs. Both ERNIELOVENBOY (6) and OSCAR BRAVO (7) have claims when at their best.

Race 3:

 

OVERVIEW: HELLOVATIME (6) is a debutante that is showing promise at the trials and is sure to be well prepared by experienced horse mentor Owen Martin and expect a forward showing.  WATCHING OVER US (2) has been close to the placings at all race starts to date and draws well. Expect a good showing again.  MICHAYWEY (3) will be improved by his first up run and could be a major player here. Both GOODTIME CORTEZ (9) OZZIE JOHN (10) and NICE ONE CENTURION (4) are likely improvers, first starters DIAMOND MAC (7) and TAP TO PAY (1) are sure to be well prepared for their race debut whilst LOMBOK (5) and RALTED (8) can’t be dismissed as place and first four hopes.

Race 4:

 

OVERVIEW: IM THE WILD ONE (8) runner up last start and drawn to get a soft trip and if the breaks come her way, she’s a winning chance. GOODTIME MAE (7) has been kept safe in the market in recent starts and hasn’t been far away. Drawn wide but is one of the main chances. BALLADORO (11) quirky pacer with ability but still learning his craft. Can be in this if he did everything right. Take on trust. CINCINNATI (1) good effort two starts ago and may have had excuses last start. Drawn well and worthy of another chance. SIR NIPPA (2) has been amongst the placings and gets every chance from the favourable draw.  MIDNIGHT MUSIC (4) not far away in recent starts and has place claims. BARBADOS ROSE (9) is a first starter that was a recent trial winner at the track. Must be respected. OBSYDIAN (10) chased home a smart one last start and will find this easier. Can keep improving. KYRGIOS (5) fitter and can improve along with LORINO (6) and REEKO REACTOR (3).

Race 5:

 

OVERVIEW: HUNGRY HOGARTH (5) resumes from a spell and was in excellent form prior to the break. Locally trained and expect a big showing first up. NAI HARN BAY (6) has won his past two starts and does have race fitness on his side. A major chance again. GERRALE (8) does possess a lethal finishing burst and will get a soft trip from the draw and if the breaks come her way she will be storming home. I OF THE HURRIKANE (7) needs to overcome a wide draw but is a place hope. ART ON FIRE (9) runner up two starts ago and gets a nice trailing draw and can figure in the finish. REIGN EM IN (1) speedy type that will be in it for a long way. ONE OFF (2) PRESIDENTIALCHANGE (3) and CELESTIAL ZODIAC (4) are amongst the first four hopes.

Race 6:

 

OVERVIEW: MAGIC LAW (6) only win was in October 2023 but has competed against stronger company in the past and does have gate speed. Won’t get a better chance to break the winning drought and add to her win tally. AGAINST THE BRIDLE (7) is never far away and strikes a very suitable race and can fight out the finish. Definite chance. NIGHT WHISPERER (8) is the horse to beat in this but faces a very tricky draw. If the breaks come his way, he will be hard to hold out. Both ALLWATFUNJINGLES (4) and BLACKRANGE GLORY (11) can win this if they trotted throughout but continue to make mistakes. Take on trust and neither would shock. BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE (9) fitter here and gets a nice trailing draw. Expect improvement. XIAOBO (10) SURPRISE TO ME (5) ATABOY CHARLIE (2) PRIMZ LUCK (3) all have claims.

Race 7:

 

OVERVIEW: SHAQ (7) loomed up as a winning chance in the Yarra Valley Cup last start and just ran out of steam. Easier here but draws poorly and just needs some racing luck to be a strong winning chance. EPIC ORION (9) racing well in this class and gets a good trailing draw. One of the main chances. MR TEDDY (6) going well but struggle to win. Runner up last start and is a definite chance. KIMCHI (2) going well and runner up at his past two starts and will make his presence felt again. MARKLEIGH CAZ (4) local mare that has won her past two starts and looks a major chance again. DALLAS CHARLIE (1) drawn well and can take up a forward position and should be in it for a long way and has place claims along with PERFECT PLAYGIRL (8). APACHE WIND (3) caused a boil over last start and must be respected again along with MY DARLING DANCER (5) that hasn’t been far away.

Race 8:

 

OVERVIEW: GOODTIME LIBBY (9) not far away against some quality horses last start and the form line has held up well since. A major chance. VINNY ROCK (5) resumed with a narrow win when first after a long spell. Can only be improved and expect a big showing again. OUR BETTOR BRO (6) seasoned 3yo that was a winner last start and rarely runs a poor race. One of the chances again. CHEYS ANGEL (4) improving type that has been running on well. Better draw here and must be respected. KATUNGA EXPRESS (12) lightly raced youngster that has ability and can run well again despite the tough draw. RIVIERA ROSE (3) locally trained mare that hasn’t been far away and once again is amongst the mix of chances. JILLIBY TYPHOON (8) honest mare that will get a soft trip and has claims. CHEDALAYO (1) draws well and will get every chance along with MAJOR DRAMA (2) and both are place and first four hopes whilst SUPER CODE (7) is a first four hope.
