OVERVIEW: ALDEBARAN ABEL (1) good effort last start when just run down. Drawn well and looks a major chance from the pole position. Hard to hold out. THE ITALIAN DREAM (3) is a well bred first starter in the astute hands of Chris Svanosio showing good ability at the trials. Expect a forward showing at her race debut. KARBINE (6) is lightly raced showing good ability but has been doing things wrong. If he can produce his best manners he can figure in the finish. Both KYVALLEY JENNY (2) and BRASSAVOLA (4) are well bred first starters that are in top stables and possess the pedigrees to be well respected. SKYTE (5) tried hard at his race debut and can keep improving.

OVERVIEW: ANGELS WATCHING (1) lovely run at his race debut when finishing off strongly late. Drawn well here and will get every chance. ARCHIE MOTH (5) going well without winning having been runner up on four occasions and can figure in the finish. The Geoff Webster trained runners MAJOR CRUNCH (3) and DOUGS TRIBE (4) are improving types and should be well poised and are amongst the chances. ORSOME DIVA (6) is a first starter under the care of harness stalwarts Julie and Aussie Mifsud. Trialling well and showing good talent and can run well at her race debut. WHISKEYDRINKINGBILL (2) improving type drawn well and is not out of the place and first four contentions.

Race 3:
OVERVIEW: DEEJAY DEX (6) capable trotter on his day and does have a solid standing start record. One of the major chances here. INMYDREAMS (7) will be primed after two runs back from a spell and wasn’t far away last start. Fitter here and despite the back mark is a strong winning hope. CHAMPAGNE CHARLEY (5) smart trotter when right and has trialled well leading into this. First try at the stand but can run well fresh. Definite chance. FLING IT RAINBOW (3) chased hard last start but was no match in slick times. Back to the stand here suits and can run well. PROHIBITED BID (4) yet to salute since arriving from New Zealand and proving costly to punters. Chance. ASTRO (1) in form and going well and drawn to be in it for a long way. SERTORIUS (2) gave a sight last start but failed to finish it off. Place hope.

OVERVIEW: RIVER PATROL (5) speedy pacer that won at this track and over this distance two starts ago and can give a great sight again. Definite chance. JOEYS HANGOVER (6) measures up well in this class and is racing in consistent form and is one of the main chances. RIGHTEOUSLY (3) honest mare that is never far away and can make her presence felt again. MURIEL (8) finished of late last start and expect a similar showing here and is amongst the chances. Both SILVER DOMINO (2) and SPECULATOR (4) are opportunists and can’t be dismissed. KARUMA KEV (7) and JEDI MIND (1) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: MISS FRANCENE (2) finished off nicely late last start and draws to sit just behind the speed. Expect a similar showing and one of the main chances. NAKEDTRUTH (4) speedy beginner suited by the sprint trip and looks well placed here. Expect a strong showing. GEE CEE CALDER (5) top win last start by leading throughout and will be in the firing line for a long way. A definite threat again. KYVALLEYHONEYBUNNY (7) brave in defeat last start and lost no admirers. Can cause an upset here. CREATABLE (3) is never far away and has claims whilst ADJURE (6) and MAJESTIC CONNIES (1) are place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: JAY BEE (1) is a good beginner and has been racing well. Drawn ideally and looks well placed to be in the finish again. SALSAWITHSIERRA (8) drawn to get a good trail and finished off well two starts ago and should be doing her best work late. JOHNNY TANG (7) improving type that will have benefited from the three race starts to date and can figure in the finish. Both IAMAWINGATE (2) and MEGAWATTS (3) have drawn well to be prominent and are not out of it whilst MON SOLEIL (5) and KYVALLEY ALLEYCAT (4) are in good form and must be respected. FEEL THE BUZZ (6) resumes and does have a big finish and performed well in this class in the past and might run well fresh.

PLAYNICE (2) AUSSIEPRIDE (7) OUR ARABELLA (3) ICANMOTOR (4) are racing well in this class and never far away and have claims. LOTAKEVI (5) dour type that always make his presence felt in this class and has claims whilst KARDESLER (9) gets a nice trailing draw and can’t be ignored.
