Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

On a heater since arriving in Qld, WASA HEAT SEKER (4) is undefeated in four attempts. Pressing on to take control last start, he was never bothered in stomping out a sizzling 1.50.2 mile. He can force the issue here and chalk up another one to make it a handful.

MOSSDALE TERRY (1) maps for the perfect trip in behind the action and can be stalking and awaiting the gap to take his shot. Chasing home behind NORHTVIEW HUSTLER in open company last start, he was runner-up in both prior attempts.

DUKE OF SCOTLAND (8) returns from a freshen after his last start was a 2nd behind ROYAL CRUISER. With good change up speed, he will be ready to find the openings.

ALWAYS SMOKIN (3) held on for the bronze last start after a tough effort when parked. He has been doing the work in all his races of late and may need to roll the sleeves again here.

SUGGESTED BET: WASA HEAT SEKER (4) to win

RACE TWO

First up for the new stable last start when tackling a small 2138m event, HIRANYA (11) was able to reel off some slick closing panels when 3rd behind MR MCLAREN. Taking benefit from the run, tis looks a nice drop in grade from that assignment and he can look to overcome the gate.

ROCKNPENNY (1) will be further tightened from his latest offering where he was second up from a spell. Closing strongly when under 3m from the winner MASTER CHARLES, he was luckless when resuming. From the gate, he will be stalking and searching for gaps.

PROMISING (4) was beaten by gate 7 last start but still closed it out in good order when 5m from the winner. A winner o the front end from this gate three starts back, he can get forward.

ROCK HAMMER (10) cashed in last start wen sitting parked and grinding out a narrow victory. Runner-up on both prior outings, the gate makes it a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: HIRANYA (11), ROCKNPENNY (1), PROMISING (4), ROCK HAMMER (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

First up off a freshen here last week, JUNGLE BABY (7) was attacking the line over the closing stages when under 2m from the winner in grabbing the bronze. Covering plenty of track the start prior, she is a three-time winner here at The Creek and if she can put it together, can take this.

ZENXENA (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was trying to make a closing raid when 3m from the winner MADRIGAL. Catching the eye the start prior when working home behind JESEEKA, settling handy can see her issue a challenge.

MISS MUCHO (4) has been kept fresh like the rest of the Sallis team over the past month and lines up here following a last start 2nd behind ITS EBONYNIVORY. Never far away, she can feature.

DIAMOND SHOOZ (9) will appreciate this level of opposition after chasing the speed machine CHYHNCHILLA at her past three in succession. With the right trail, she is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: JUNGLE BABY (7), ZENXENA (2), MISS MUCHO (4), DIAMOND SHOOZ (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JUNGLE BABY (7) to win

RACE FOUR

Fitter following his return from a let up here last week, IS THAT A BID (2) lands the first blow in this battle by starting off the front tape under the conditions. Just a head away last time out when first up, he was beaten a lip at Menangle two starts back. The front line is a huge plus.

GUS (7) was chasing six on the bounce last start when sent out deep into the red for the G1 Trotters Cup but his night ended with an error. This is a big ask from the 30m here fresh, with some of those in front looking well placed. With three trials in readiness, he has the class.

ZEALOUS SPUR (5) was massive in defeat here two starts back when slow off the mark and losing plenty of ground. Rallying late to be under 4m from the winner, he has podium claims.

ADELLE (6) has been able to trot throughout in recent starts and placed at her past two. Just 1m away last start, she is in the mix again here.

SELECTIONS: IS THAT A BID (2), GUS (7), ZEALOUS SPUR (5), ADELLE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IS THAT A BID (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Returning from a spell last time out, ROBYN X (1) was slammed with the outside of the second line and then struck trouble in the run to end her chances. With good hustle off the arm, she has all the options to find the spot to capitalise.

ELEGANT GROOVES (6) is a classy mare that has won three of her five starts in her brief career. Resuming last time out for the new barn, she was sent forward from outside the front line and was able to claim a PB mile. Fitter and with added experience, she can throw it down here.

ALLNIGHT DANCER (8) has been freshened since her last appearance when just behind the money as TORQUE LIKE MOTION arrived. With a cosy trip, she can be searching for gaps.

YUKON BE SERIOUS (5) has placed at her past two starts, the latest when runner-up to DELILAH ROSE. Starting from the inside gate on that occasion, this is a tougher assignment.

SELECTIONS: ROBYN X (1), ELEGANT GROOVES (6), ALLNIGHT DANCER (8), YUKON BE SERIOUS (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Unplaced in his first two runs back from a spell, ARODA (5) was a victim of the race shape on each occasion. Last week from outside the second line, he was able to stomp out some impressive sectionals when only a head away from victory. This looks his chance to capitalise.

GLOVER (1) made the most of a perfect start from the tapes in a mid-week contest here two starts back where he was returning from a spell. Dictating in front, he was able to see them off with a neck to spare. The gate and tempo beat him last start with conditions here looking ideal.

DON ARTHUR (8) has been hitting good areas in recent starts, the latest when attacking the line in the stretch to be just a neck short of victory. A winner two back, he is right in the fight.

MACH ASSASSIN (2) held the pocket trail from inside the second line last start and looked to take his shot up the passing lane when 3m from the winner ROYAL SPEECH. He has claims

SELECTIONS: ARODA (5), GLOVER (1), DON ARTHUR (8), MACH ASSASSIN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ARODA (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

An even looking 3YO contest where SHES FULLOFSPIRIT (7) will need to be at her best to defy the gate. Making an error last week at the start, she lands the ODM embargo. That followed a win against the older mares and she has the class to overcome the seven.

TOBEFAIRTOYOU (3) was a winner here three starts back when finishing over the top of them from the second line. Buried from the inside second line here last start, she was able to grab the bronze behind CHICAGO BART and from this gate can get handy to challenge.

GLENAEGLE VEE CEE (4) took his shot on the passing lane last week and arrived in time for a half-head margin. Runner-up from a tough gate the start prior, he is in the mix once again.

CHICAGO BART (8) set the tempo last week but was unable to fight them off when stepping up against the older horses in a qualifier. Back to 3YO only company, he will be searching for gaps.

SELECTIONS: SHES FULLOFSPIRIT (7), TOBEFAIRTOYOU (3), GLENAEGLE VEE CEE (4), CHICAGO BART (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SHES FULLOFSPIRIT (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

With good early hustle when allowed to slide, ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (3) might just be able to get across to the poles and from there can avail the options. Asked to sit parked last start, it was a game 2nd in slick time. This is a race that looks within reach.

AMAMI (7) was allowed to slide here three starts back and freewheeling in front was able to punch out a career PB mile. Runner-up last start when attacking the line in the closing stages, the smaller field will assist his challenging chances.

LOCHINVAR JAG (6) made the most of the tag and release play here last week, finding the poles first, releasing and then darting through in the stretch. The gate makes the repeat harder.

MASTER CHARLES (5) secured the ideal trip here last week when trailing the speed and then taking the passing lane shot to score. The wider gate and rise in grade make it a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (3), AMAMI (7), LOCHINVAR JAG (6), MASTER CHARLES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (3) to win

RACE NINE

RUBY RULES (4)

OUR SWEET DELIGHT (7) returns from a spell after his last start 3rd in the Triad Final when forced to work hard in the run outside the leader. Showing good speed in victory off tempo the start prior, he comes into this without a trial and from the outside makes it a challenge.

SEASIDE GLORY (8) has been freshened since her last start where she had the close out speed to arrive for victory. Only 3m from PATH TO GREATNESS the start prior, she has second line options.

MISS CRUNCHY (6) has won her past two starts, the latest when leading throughout and pulling clear to post a 16m margin. Back to her own age is a plus.
