Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Just the field of six to battle out the opening race where the beautifully bred RACE FOR RICHES (3) can look to start her career in fine style. By Always B Miki, she is out of the G1 winner Rani Major and showed enough in a qualifying trial that she is up to the first up task.

IMA BALLERINA (5) has placed in two of her four career appearances and with race experience to call on, can look to make her presence felt. A tough 3rd two starts back when asked to sit parked, the smaller field is in her favour.

CAPTAIN BART (4) eased from gate 5 in a small field last start and was trying to make a closing raid when unplaced. Sliding into a spot can see him grab another minor.

SELECTIONS: RACE FOR RICHES (3), IMA BALLERINA (5), CAPTAIN BART (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RACE FOR RICHES (3) to win

RACE TWO

With good early hustle off the arm, MELTON INSULTED (4) should be able to look for the lamp lighting duties. Resuming from a spell last start when setting the tempo and only wilting in the closing stages, the added fitness from that outing can see her look to see them off.

MAN OF ACTION (9) was a inner from gate 3 here two starts back when exposed early before receiving cover and then finishing best to hold on for a narrow margin. Chasing late last time, the trail through in the early stages can see him challenge over the latter part.

SPELLMAKERS CHARM (10) is given no favours from the outside second line, but her form has been strong enough that against this opposition, she can make a podium play.

HATTIES JEWEL (7) led them up last time but could not hold on when 3m astern of the winner IDEAL TIGER. The wide gate makes it a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: MELTON INSULTED (4), MAN OF ACTION (9), SPELLMAKERS CHARM (10), HATTIES JEWEL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON INSULTED (4) to win

RACE THREE

Mapping to secure the ideal position in behind the speed, if JUSTROLLINGAROUND (8) can find the space in time and with the right momentum, she can make the closing shot a winning one. Heavily supported and scoring here two starts back from gate 10, this is within reach.

FILLY THIRTEEN (1) was sent hard off the arm with her slick early moves last time and tried to fight them off when falling just an eyelash short of victory. Striking trouble the start prior, she has the speed to burrow through and will be throwing down the challenge.

MAJOR TRALEE (5) produced some strong closing fractions last start when rattling late to be within a head of the winner. Positioning cheaply will be the key to his chances.
NASHVILLE BART (10) has been freshened since his last appearance when a beaten fav from inside the second line. A winner three starts back, he is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: JUSTROLLINGAROUND (8), FILLY THIRTEEN (1), MAJOR TRALEE (5), NASHVILLE BART (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-8-10

RACE FOUR

A wide-open contest where the middle trip 2138 makes it an even tougher task to sort them out. SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (6) was too far back last start and could not get warm in the closing stages. A winner at the trip three starts back, she can be the one to arrive.

MUFASA BART (10) was sent around them from outside the second line to sit parked last tie and faded over the closing stages from the load. A winner four starts back when attacking the line late, he comes into this off a freshen and is up to the challenge.

GOODTIME CRACKER (2) comes into this off a last start Redcliffe victory when overcoming gate 6 and pulling clear to a huge margin. An improved gate can see him right in the fight.

PINK RIVER DIAMOND (3) cashed in here last start over this trip when finishing best for a narrow margin. Settling handy can see her in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (6), MUFASA BART (10), GOODTIME CRACKER (2), PINK RIVER DIAMOND (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SKIPPERS SWAN SONG (6) to win

RACE FIVE

A winner here two starts back when able to find the front and dictate, JUDITH GWENDA (6) was game in defeat when runner-up behind the smart looking ELEGANT GROOVES last time out. The gate stings, but she can position to stake her winning claim.

UDDERLY SWEET (11) is a talented colt that has the class but does have some factors against him. Just a 2YO tackling the older opposition for the first time, he resumes from a spell off the second line at his first attempt over the 2138. Class might not be enough this time

GO THE RED (8) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when holding on for the bronze behind OUR BENSON who has franked that with a subsequent win. He will be probing.

LEAVE IT TO LUCY (4) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after successive wins at the mile. Just a 2YO stepping out to the middle trip for the first time, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: JUDITH GWENDA (6), UDDERLY SWEET (11), GO THE RED (8), LEAVE IT TO LUCY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JUDITH GWENDA (6) to win

RACE SIX

A drop back from Saturday night company into this graded contest might be enough for PLAYA BLANCA (2) to capitalise. Only nabbed in the latter stages when leading two starts back as JESEEKA worried her out of it, she has the early speed to take her shot.

KERBANG (4) produced some smart closing sectionals last time out when eased from gate 6 to settle at the rear before trying to work into the contest. A winner here three starts back when finishing over the top of them, there should be some tempo which he can descend off.

FRANCO MACHO (8) will be probing for openings from this gate as he looks at risk of being snookered in the run. With two wins in his past four starts, he has podium claims.

SCRUFFY (3) closed it off in good order two starts back when finishing with the silver behind FRANCO MACHO. Not suited last start at the middle trip, he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: PLAYA BLANCA (2), KERBANG (4), FRANCO MACHO (8), SCRUFFY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PLAYA BLANCA (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (3)
has now had five runs back from a spell, the latest where he was able to grab his first minor placing of the campaign. Forced to sit parked, it was a game effort where he was under 4m from the winner. Settling handy can see him cash in here.

MY ROCKY ROMANCE (4) was first up from a spell last time out when eased to find position and was soon at the tail of the field. Unable to get warm in the closing stages on the sloppy track, he closed his last campaign with victory from gate 7 when leading and can throw it down here.

BETTING ORIGIN (5) was sent forward from the second line to sit parked last time in a qualifier when fighting hard to the line behind DON ARTHUR. He can feature in this line up.

KICKATINALONGPONY (10) was angled to the inside to chase the short cuts last start when finishing 5m from the winner ROYAL SPEECH. With the right trip, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (3), MY ROCKY ROMANCE (4), BETTING ORIGIN (5), KICKATINALONGPONY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: WE ALWAYS HAVE FAITH (3) win/place
