Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Unbeaten since arriving from Perth, WASA HEAT SEEKER (2) lands the ideal set up to keep the record perfect. Sent forward from gate 6 last start to control a hot speed and post a 5m margin, it followed a strong win over the flying CHYNCHILLA. From the gate, he can make it four on end.

ROYAL SPEECH (7) has been top two in five of his seven here at The Creek and last start was fighting hard when collared late by BETTERTHANAROCKET. A gritty effort when parked the start prior and taking one last dive when beaten a half-head, he can again issue the challenge.

ART JESTER (8) will be probing for the gaps from this gate as he looks at risk of being shuffled away. Last start he would have finished closer if a gap arrived sooner and he has closing speed.

MACH ASSASSIN (1) put together three successive wins before ending the streak from a tough gate at Redcliffe two runs back. A tidy 2nd from gate 7 last start, the improved gate is a huge plus.

SELECTIONS: WASA HEAT SEEKER (2), ROYAL SPEECH (7), ART JESTER (8), MACH ASSASSIN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: WASA HEAT SEEKER (2) to win

RACE TWO

Given no favours from this gate, BRAEDOS LAD (7) has been in super touch in recent starts. Joining the sub 1.50 club here three starts back in a tough performance, he has placed in both runs since, the latest when holding the front before LEAP TO FAME pulled clear. He can defy the gate.

TURN IT UP (9) had placed in three successive runs prior to his last start defeat when sent out in red figures. Unable to see them off over this trip following a 55.4 middle half, he can descend on them if saved for the closing shot.

KINGMAKER (8) will be relying on some luck at some stage from this gate but if he can hit the passing lane with momentum, he has the closing speed to grab a minor.

DANGERZONE (11) made full use of the inside gate here two starts back, burrowing through, taking control and holding them off. Luckless last start, he can look for a cart home to feature.

SELECTIONS: BRAEDOS LAD (7), TURN IT UP (9), KINGMAKER (8), DANGERZONE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: BRAEDOS LAD (7) to win

RACE THREE

This looks a tricky map, in a race with some in-form horses but made tougher by the middle trip. Airborne in recent starts, RAGING SEA (8) will be needing plenty of factors in his favour from this gate to make it four in succession. A strong winner last start, he just needs an opening.

DON ARTHUR (7) receives no favours from the carpark draw, but his recent form has been strong and last start attacked the line wide off the track when 3rdd behind RAGING SEA. Striking trouble two starts back, he can look to issue the challenge.

ARENDELLE (6) steps up in grade for this assignment but has been a winner at his past two in succession. Claiming a 3m margin last start, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.

BETTING ORIGIN (9) worked hard in the run from gate 7 last start and was gripping on late to hold 3rd. Pressing through early, he can be in position to take a closing shot.

SELECTIONS: RAGING SEA (8), DON ARTHUR (7), ARENDELLE (6), BETTING ORIGIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: RAGING SEA (8) to win

RACE FOUR

absolutely airborne since arriving with Donny Smith, CHYNCHILLA (6) has just one defeat in her past seven starts, finishing 2nd when only a head from the equally as impressive WASA HEAT SEEKER. Pulling clear to a big margin last start, she can force the issue and pull clear.

ITS EBONYNIVORY (7) has chased home CHYNCHILLA in three of her past four starts, placing in each. The only time she has averted that mare, she was able to claim a win of her own in overcoming the inside second line. She appears best of the rest.

APHRODITE (1) can look to maximise her earning chances from this gate with the economical trip behind the speed. Runner-up last start, she can chase the minor money again.

DIAMOND SHOOZ (8) can look for a cheaper trip here after being forced to work in the run in recent starts. Seeing them off here four starts back, she is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: CHYNCHILLA (6), ITS EBONYNIVORY (7), APHRODITE (1), DIAMOND SHOOZ (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 6 / 1-7-8 / 1-7-8

RACE FIVE

Placed at her past two starts, BRONSKI DELIGHT (1) was sent forward last start to take control but was unable to put them away when finishing 4m from the winner SEGIOS ROCKET. Showing early hustle before taking cover two starts back, she has all the options here to capitalise.

TORQUE LIKE MOTION (8) sat rearward from a wide gate here two starts back and when set free in the stretch, charged hard to arrive in time. Making a late dive last start when just a half-head short of victory, she has the second line options to challenge.

PLAYA BLANCA (4) was asked to sit parked last start and was grinding it out when finishing 4m from the winner. Not suited off the second line the start prior, she can force the issue here.

SKY BLU (2) was shuffled to three back from the inside gate last start and could not get warm over the closing stages. With the right trip, she is a podium chance in this line up.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI DELIGHT (1), TORQUE LIKE MOTION (8), PLAYA BLANCA (4), SKY BLU (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BRONSKI DELIGHT (1) to win

RACE SIX

A tricky little 3YO contest with no real standout can see CHICAGO BART (3) look to cash in. Pressing forward before releasing last start and holding on for the silver, it followed a luckless effort from inside the second line. This looks within reach.

SHARDS MATRIX (4) resumes from a spell after three Qld runs during the Carnival saw him unplaced in each. Making an error at his last appearance in the Qld Derby Consolation, his previous two were from outside the second line. He is a threat fresh.

MONTGOMERY BURNS (7) has missed the money in two Qld appearances, the latest when making some nice metres in the closing stages at Redcliffe. From a tough gate, he can feature.

VINCENT TIME (6) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when buried in the run from inside the second line. Tackling his own age, he can chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: CHICAGO BART (3), SHARDS MATRIX (4), MONTGOMERY BURNS (7), VINCENT TIME (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CHICAGO BART (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

Working to the front here last week from behind the start car, MAJESTIC HARRY (4) was trying to fight them off, with only TOP OF THE MOMENT along the passing lane able to get past. With the right trip from the 10m, he can be in position to stake a claim for his 10th AP victory.

HAMMER SON (2) is in super form with a top two in nine of his past 10 starts. Chasing a hat-trick of wins following his latest victory from the mobile, he can be safely away from the front tape to throw down the challenge.

VICTREE HILL (6) was chasing inside runs last start when grabbing the bronze behind MAJESTIC HARRY. Runner-up to ZEALOUS SPUR the start prior, he can be chiming in again here.

ADELLE (8) worked to the front last start from a wide gate over the mobile 2138 but could not finish them off when 4m away and unplaced. She can never be ruled out.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC HARRY (4), HAMMER SON (2), VICTREE HILL (6), ADELLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Forced to sit parked last time out, COVER GIRL (3) could only manage a midfield return after being sent out as the fav. Strong late when 3rd behind TORQUE IN MOTION two starts back, this is the closest he has drawn to the poles in a long time and she can look to capitalise.

NYOTA (5) was sent around them from the second line last time and sitting parked was fighting hard in holding on for the bronze. Striking trouble the start prior, she faces a tricky gate here, but her form has been strong without cashing in since arriving in Qld.

PUMPKIN PAT (1) fired off the arm last start when looking to take them all the way in this same grade. Holding on for the silver behind SHES FULLOFSPIRIT, she has the gate to go close again.

DELILAH ROSE (7) is afforded no favours from the outside alley here after a luckless run last start when buried away on the inside. A winner two starts back, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: COVER GIRL (3), NYOTA (5), PUMPKIN PAT (1), DELILAH ROSE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COVER GIRL (3) to win
