Race 1:
OVERVIEW: LAYDEN (2) is a talented pacer that is racing well and hasn’t enjoyed the best of racing luck in recent starts. Drawn well and should be well poised throughout. Expect a big showing. STRAVINSKY (4) interesting runner that comes into this race with a ‘claiming price’ and looks well rated. Does possess gate speed and can give a big sight. SPIRIT OF ARION (8) racing with great zest and drawn to enjoy a nice smother on the pegs and if the breaks come his way, he will be storming home. HES A MEISTER (10) resumed with a good win and strips fitter here and has shown in the past to have a big finish. Definite chance along with LOUIE LOU I (11) that is getting fitter with each run and will keep improving and don’t dismiss. CRIME WRITER (3) is never far away and has claims.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: VALIENTE (9) has been racing very well and didn’t enjoy the best of racing luck last start and was doing his best work late. Drawn to get a good trip and is an each way hope. ALWAYS THE SHOWMAN (4) caught the eye by running on nicely last start and is working up to a win. If he can make most of his draw, he’s a winning chance. TERROR EYES (8) racing with great zest, tricky draw but if the breaks come his way, he will be hard to hold out. ROYAL DIVISION (13) talented pacer when right however failed to finish off last start when well back and sectionals were against him. Tough draw to overcome but can’t be overlooked. KENDYS BUTTERFLY (12) THEROCKGOD (5) and TARA VICTORY (6) all finished off strongly last start and with suitable trips are in the mix of chances. BANKSOFTHEMURRAY (7) hasn’t been far away, but the wide draw might prove to be the challenge. READY TO ROCK (2) has early speed, disappointed last start but can improve. STAG PARTY (10) DAT LOU (11) and ANIMADO (1) are in form and have claims.

OVERVIEW: DICHOTOMY (2) talented mare that finished off strongly last start from a long way back and is one of the min chances. KEAYANG GUCCI (1) drawn to get all the favours and is going well. A major chance and should get every hope from the pole position. HEPHAESTUS PHOENIX (4) a fast beginner that bounced back to form last start and can give a big sight again. TWEEDLEDEE (8) should enjoy a soft trip along the pegs and has claims. BERRIESANDCHERRIES (9) will find this easier than last start and can run well. MEADOW VALLEY STAR (11) good effort last start and in form though faces a tough draw to overcome. MORE WANTED (5) going well and is very honest. TOUGH LOVE (10) class trotter on the comeback trail, fitter and will keep improving. SER PATRICK (7) tough trotter but 6 weeks between runs the only concern. GOTFEELINGSYOUKNOW (3) hasn’t been far away, first four hope.

METEOR MOTH (7) unbeaten 3yo that resumes and possesses plenty of ability and expect a big showing first up. BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (4) nice run last start savaging the line from well back. Can run a mighty race here. OUR LUCIANO (8) very capable sit and sprint pacer that will enjoy a soft trip and expect him to be running on strongly. Both HOORAH PHILTRA (1) and CARRAMAR OLAM (2) are very honest and have nice draws and are definite place and first four hopes.

Unbeaten at two starts for new trainer Andy Gath and is having his first standing start attempt here and his overall staying distance record has been fair in the past. He faces a new challenge but he’s all class. ARCEE PHOENIX (11) talented trotter having his third run back from a spell and continues to get fitter with each run. Expect a big showing. KEAYANG CHUCKY (8) emerging trotter making some big statements and ticks all the boxes coming into this. A major chance. ONE OVER ALL (9) seasoned war horse that loves the stands and the staying races, he will make his presence felt. MUFASA METRO (10) quality trotter that is never far away and can run well. PARISIAN ARTISTE (6) HATCHBACK (4) POWEDERKEG (5) PRINCE OF ROCK (2) BLUE COMAN (3) must all be respected as first four chances.

OVERVIEW: BETTER ECLIPSE (7) has enjoyed an outstanding career to date and a proven stayer. He’s third up from a spell and should be primed for a big showing despite the challenging wide draw. Sure to run a mighty race. The Jason Grimson prepared runners DISTRICT ATTORNEY (4) and MAJOR MOTH (6) have the early speed to be pressing forward and should be well placed throughout. Both can give great sights. The Andy Gath runners HECTOR (12) a new addition to the stable hit the line strongly and was an eye catcher in the Len Smith mile whilst TANGO TARA (5) will race handy. Seasoned and experienced pacers TRIPLE EIGHT (3) LIKE A WILDFIRE (9) and PERFECT STRIDE (10) rarely run poor races and all relish the staying trips and can cause boilovers with suitable trips.

Race 7:
OVERVIEW: KEAYANG TOKYO (7) finished 3rd in the Group One Vicbred Final and was very brave in defeat. Racing very well and despite facing a tough wide draw is sure to make his presence felt again. KOWALSKI ANALYSIS (9) quality pacer when right and has worked back into some very good form and expect a big showing. HES CHARLIES ANGEL (4) has found his winning mojo again having won his past two starts and can run a big race again here. RAKERO SLAMMER (2) speedy pacer that can mix his form but when at his best he’s run some good races. Drawn to get a good trip and must be respected fresh. SPYGLASS (6) resumes but does have good ability and can run well fresh along with the fit and in form pacer ROARFORROSCOE (5) that can always prove hard to shake off whilst ANGUS INDIANA (1) draws well first up and will enjoy a soft trip. Stable mates KOSIMO (11) and OUR VINCENT CAN GOUGH (12) will be running home late, CLASSIC MISSION (3) draws to prominent and can’t be dismissed whilst BETTOR ISOLATE (8) has quality but needs luck from inside second row draw.

VICI BLOOM (1) strips fitter and draws well and is amongst the place chances. ALDEBARAN DAHLIA (8) resumes from a spell and has shown promise. Can run well fresh. IKIGAI (2) hasn’t been far away and is a first four hope along with DOUBLE HELIX (4) and INDEFENSIBLE (5).
