OVERVIEW: FREE TO PLAY (2) promising filly that was runner up behind two high quality pacers as a 2yo and will find this a much easier assignment. Clearly the one to beat. INTO THE HARKNESS (3) she’s been close to winning a race but bumps into a smart one here. Definite place chance. JILLIBY SORRENTO (4) was well supported when at his race debut and performed below market expectation. Astute stable and can make amends here and worthy of another chance. MAJOR FANTASY (1) nicely bred filly that draws well and will enjoy a good trip here and expect a forward showing. WATCHING OVER US (5) CROCODILE BLOOD (6) ICE QUEEN (7) are amongst the first four hopes.

The Brent Lilley runners PATRICKS CHARM (3) and SUNNYCOAST SECRET (2) are sure to be improved by their race experiences and can continue to improve. GREAT HORIZON (4) resumes here and will have benefited from last season’s campaign and can run well fresh whilst CAITHNESS LADY (1) BET BET HOTSHOT (6) and MOONSHINE TERROR (7) have claims.

OVERVIEW: CHARLIE WALKER (7) can be a hard horse to catch on his best day however his best form is good enough to be fighting out the finish in this. Take on trust. ALFIE ALWAYS (9) has been racing below his best but strikes a very suitable race to find some good form. Gets another chance here. MANDA KYVALLEY (8) broke through for her second win last start having teased for a while. She might continue her winning way. ARISTOTLE (6) not disgraced first up and strips fitter here. Capable and not out of this. UNSPOKEN LOVE (1) has been thereabouts without threatening. Has claims here. ATABOY CHARLIE (10) freshened up and can run well whilst TENSION SEEKER (2) PLAYA DEL CARMEN (3) ALDEBARAN BRUTUS (4) and MADGE EGAN (5) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

BEAU BRONSKI (5) disappointed last start but prior form was solid for this. One of the chances. IRISHMURPHY (1) veteran that draws well and was a last start winner and will get every chance. SASSCILIAN (9) drawn to get a soft trip and if the breaks go his way he can figure along with HANOVER JACK (10) SALSBOY (11) and RONZEL SONNY (7) will be running home late. Both CRAFTY OLD FOX (6) and PEPPERCORN BARRY (3) can race handy and should be prominent.

If the breaks go her way, she can win! ROYAL DIVISION (9) smart type that will strip fitter here and keep progressing. Definite threat. MARTY THE MARTIAN (5) saluted last start having enjoyed a good trip. Harder here and faces a wider draw. Must be respected. RIMU VALLEY (2) does have the early speed to race handy and can be in this for a long way. BLUE CANNON (1) drawn to get a soft trip and will get every chance. TALLARAS SHADOW (10) big effort to win last start coming from a mile back and will be storming home late again. MAJOR MAL (4) is never far away and can’t be dismissed. Both MATADOR (3) and CEE CEE IN AMERICA (7) are first four hopes.

SURFIN AT MIDNIGHT (8) MY ROCK MOVES (2) MYSHANIA (3) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

Both FREMONT STREET (11) and MARKLEIGH CAZ (12) are working up to wins but have tough draws to overcome. Both will be running on strongly.
