Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

Edging towards a win after some handy efforts of late, MY RUMOUR HAS IT (5) looks to have found the right conditions. Locked away and picking off some late metres last time for the bronze, she was runner-up here two back and can look to capitalise here.

CONNIES PRESIDENT (12) started from a 10m tape last start when settled in the running line and then owning superior closing speed was able to arrive for a 2m margin. Not suited when parked the start prior, he can find position to issue a challenge in this.

HAMMER SON (4) should appreciate a move to the front line after coming from marks in recent weeks. Off 30m last start when never in the mix, he can settle closer to chime in here.

MILLY AN EYRE (11) took on the pacers last start at Marburg when asked to sit parked and do it he tough way. A winner at that same track four runs back, she can be making a play here.

SUGGESTED BET: MY RUMOUR HAS IT (5) to win

RACE TWO

Placed in four of his past five starts, COCHY MALC (7) was runner-up last start behind HIDE AND SEEK in strong time at the mobile 2138. Making late metres here three starts back when 3rd behind KODA DA MODA, he finds the right conditions for a drought breaking win.

ITSALLANDOVER (6) will be first up from a spell after putting together a smart record on this deck since joining the Dwyer stable. Shut down following a last, he was runner-up to HIDE AND SEEK two starts back and with a pipe-opening trial on Friday, can feature fresh.

INDEFENSIBLE (3) looks to find a suitable assignment and gets back in grade for this contest. Freshened since fading over the latter stages last start, this is a race that is well within reach.

KING OF LOVE (4) makes his first Qld appearance for visiting trainer Joe Connolly. After three runs back from a spell where he has been unplaced in each, he can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: COCHY MALC (7), ITSALLANDOVER (6), INDEFENSIBLE (3), KING OF LOVE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: COCHY MALC (7) to win

RACE THREE

A Sweet Lou gelding on debut for the Dixon stable, SWEET LAD JUJON (1) rates as a full brother to the handy MY ULTIMATE BILLY. Taken to Redcliffe where he trialled in good order in readiness for his first appearance, he lands the ideal gate to start his career in style.

OGEDIE (8) has been runner-up at each of his past two starts, the latest when sent to the front from gate four in an attempt to lead throughout. Pressing on with it two starts back when 1.5m from the winner DUAL CAM, he can trail through early and be chasing the gaps to chime in.

ALWAYS PROMISE ME (10) is given no favours from the this gate but his two career starts to date have both been full of merit. With the right trip, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SWEET LAD JUJON (1), OGEDIE (8), ALWAYS PROMISE ME (10), AIR BORN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET LAD JUJON (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Having been confirmed for a Ladbrokes Protostar Slot last week, SWEET ON LEXY (7) arrives to take his first spin around THE CREEK. Progressing to the Bathurst Gold Crown Final, he finished down the line  and was sent for a spell. With three trials to get screwed down, he can arrive with a bang.

TEDDY TURPIN (2) returns from a spell after a 2YO campaign that netted one win and two minors in five starts. Runner-up at his last start back in October when sitting parked, he has good speed out of the machine and can be looking to run the arm fresh.

ITS ONE LIFE (1) was not suited at Marburg last start when asked to work hard from the outside front line. Trying to take them all the way two starts back, he has the gate to feature.

IMXTRASPECIAL (8) maps for the easy trip behind the action and will be looking for the gaps. Leading throughout last start and defeating subsequent feature winner SINABUN, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: SWEET ON LEXY (7), TEDDY TURPIN (2), ITS ONE LIFE (1), IMXTRASPECIAL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET ON LEXY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

Starting to hit some good areas in recent weeks, ROCK HAMMER (5) was exposed for most of the mile last week and was only collared in the last stride. A winner over the 2138 two starts back, he can press forward to find position and look to continue the good form.

LEITHEN BURN (7) is afforded no favours from the outside gate and will need some factors in his favour at some stage in the run. Trying to make late metres last start from the second line, three starts back he was only 6m from REGAZZO DI TILLY and can make a challenge here.

ART ON FIRE (1) was a Redcliffe winner three starts back when pressing forward to take control and pull clear to a 10m margin. Runner-up in both runs since, he has the gate to feature.

MAGICOL IDEAL (9) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when just a head from the winner at Marburg. Only a neck away two starts back, he can be chiming in.

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Down to make his Qld debut 10 days ago at Redcliffe, FULL BROTHER (4) was a scratching and instead will take his first outing in this contest. His figure form is nothing to be enthused by, however he finds the conditions to turn things around.

KALASA (3) sat parked here five back and despite the tough trip was able to grind out the win. 3rd to the flying ELLIS STREET three back, the strength of that was franked with a win at his next appearance. Just a head away last start, he can force the issue to challenge in this.

HOLD ONTO YA BLING (6) again draws a wide gate to make his task difficult. 5m from the winner last start after easing for position, podium claims look his best chance.

ESCOBAR (10) scored at Redcliffe four runs back when proving too strong for his rivals. Placed in two runs since that win, the past two have been from gate 7 and he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: FULL BROTHER (4), KALASA (3), HOLD ONTO YA BLING (6), ESCOBAR (10)

RACE SEVEN

Faced with an inside second line gate last start, KICKATINALONGPONY (2) was probing along the passing lane when just a half-head short of victory behind COMMODORE JUJON. With eh chance to apply the pressure, he should get his chance to cash in.

LAST TIME JOE (4) was making good metres over the closing stages last start after beginning from a second line gate. Holding on for the bronze, his win three starts back at the middle trip was strong and positioning cheaply has him right in the fight.

PARAMA (1) was fired off the arm from gate 3 here last week to lead and from the front, only wilted in the closing stages to be 3m from the winner. The gate aids his chances.

SOEXTRA (10) has been lightly raced and lines up for his first start since late May. Runner-up from a wide gate two starts back, he can be looking to chime in.

SELECTIONS: KICKATINALONGPONY (2), LAST TIME JOE (4), PARAMA (1), SOEXTRA (10)

Given no favours from this gate, MY ROCKY ROMANCE (12) has been sectionally super in recent starts. Rattling late last start after easing from gate 7, the start prior he was again charging late when just out of the money. Tempo will aid hie chances.

SWEET AGENDA (2) backs up from Friday night where she was sent hard off the arm in search of the front. Taking control on that occasion over the 2138 trip, she was able to grip on for a narrow victory. The gate gives her the chance to chase the repeat.

ZENA RHAYNE BOW (5) was fired across to find the front last week and trying to grip on, was forced to take the runner-up award after being collared up the passing lane. She has claims.

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (8) will be relying on some factors in his favour as he looks at risk of being snookered in the run. Placed in three of his past four, he will be looking for openings.

BOTTICELLI (2) found the front with ease last start when stepping out from gate 4 but was unable to see them off. Only breaking maiden ranks three starts back, he can be thereabouts.

ARCHILLES (4) will relish the return to the sprint trip after facing a 2138m contest last time. Fading to finish last after sitting parked, he can force the issue early to chime in.
