Form Analysis by Darren Clayton

RACE ONE

A wide open event with every runner looking to find some form and a change of fortune. EURO BEAT (9) has been unplaced in recent starts but not too far away, the latest when hitting the line in good style at HQ behind HANDS ON. He finds the right race to power home.

PLAYA BLANCA (3) was working hard in the early stages last start before finding running line cover and fading over the closing stages. With good speed out of the machine, she can look to press forward here to enhance the challenging chances.

LA MISTRESS (1) tried to see them off from this same gate last start but faded over the closing stages in a sold tempo. She has the options to turn it around.

REGULUS (5) eased to the poles last start from a second line gate and finished midfield over this same trip. Despite a wider gate, he can be joining in.

SELECTIONS: EURO BEAT (9), PLAYA BLANCA (3), LA MISTRESS (1), REGULUS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: EURO BEAT (9) to win

RACE TWO

DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (1) tackled the standing start Showcase Final last start when finishing 12m astern of the winner after mixing the start. Setting the tempo in a mares qualifier two starts back, she has the gate and options to capitalise.

FORGIVE ME (3) held the pocket trail from inside the second line at Marburg last start and with the good trip, held on for the silver behind MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR. Placed in three of her past four, she can settle close enough to issue a challenge.

KEAYANG TARA (8) was a winner here three starts back when overcoming a 20m handicap in the Showcase Heats. Down the line in both runs since, she can follow through to feature.

ARENA QUEEN (2) was trying to make metres in the latter stages last start when down the line behind CHAMONIX. Not too far off them the start prior, she is a podium player.

SELECTIONS: DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (1), FORGIVE ME (3), KEAYANG TARA (8), ARENA QUEEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DELIGHTFUL RAINBOW (1) to win

RACE THREE

MYNAMESEVAN (2) was working hard when pressing forward from a wide gate last start and finding the position outside the leader, just faded in the closing stages as NEVADA YANKEE scored. Placed in both prior outings, an improved gate can see him capitalise.

BETTORS MOON (8) returns for another campaign in Qld for Dave Druitt and brings a last start 3rd from Wagga. A two-time winner here on The Triangle from a previous visit, she can be put into the contest to issue the challenge.

EPIC ORION (3) has been freshened since his last appearance when pressing on to take control but fading in the latter stages. He can be handy enough to grab a minor.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (7) finished midfield in the Showcase Consolation when making some closing metres. He will be searching for an opening here to chime in.

SELECTIONS: MYNAMESEVAN (2), BETTORS MOON (8), EPIC ORION (3), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MYNAMESEVAN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SHEZA CRACKER (4) has featured in a stable switch and will line up for the Seaton Grima team. Taking her first look at The Triangle, she can run the arm when let go but at her past two has been back in the pack. Looking for a change of fortunes, this is easier than recent assignments.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6) made late metres to grab the silver last start at Marburg. Snookered away here two starts back but finishing just 4m from the winner HIT THE TRACK, he can roll forward and look to make a challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) tried to take the all the way last start when setting the tempo but fading in the closing stages. Runner-up three back when a half-neck from ROCK NIEN, the gate is a plus.

TOMMY BLIGH (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start, retreating to secure position and then too far back to make an impression. Placed in both prior runs, a soft trip here is a plus.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA CRACKER (4), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (6), IMA BEACH BABE (1), TOMMY BLIGH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA CRACKER (4) to win

RACE FIVE

MELODYS MISCHIEF (9)
faced gate 1 last start when securing the pocket trail and not really going on with it in the stretch. Midfield in both prior outings both here and at The Creek, she strikes a winnable contes and with the right trip can look to descend on them.

AUNTY FRANCES (5) has now had two runs back from a spell and finished down the line on each occasion. With the added fitness, she strikes a wide-open contest and pressing forward can see her challenge.

THREE MACHS (7) will be requiring some factors in her favour at some stage from this alley as she looks at risk of being snookered. Look for her slicing through late.

FLOORLESS (8) sat parked two starts back and fought on for the bronze. Too far back last start in stronger company, she can be making a play in this.

SELECTIONS: MELODYS MISCHIEF (9), AUNTY FRANCES (5), THREE MACHS (7), FLOORLESS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MELODYS MISCHIEF (9) to win

RACE SIX

GABBYS IDEAL (1)
looks to have found ideal conditions after facing some wide gates in recent attempts. Midfield last start when starting from outside the front line, she is a gate speed mare that can set up in front and look to dictate.

CANDYKANE (4) tried to lead throughout last time but wilted in the closing stages as MODERN SHEEN pulled clear to score. 3rd here three starts back, positioning cheaply will aid her challenging chances.

MILLIEWOOD (7) was sent to the post as fav last start from the second line and angling for the shortcuts grabbed the bronze behind SHE OWNS THE DAY. A soft trip looks on offer.

TINSEL TIARA (6) is afforded no favours from this gate and will need some favourable factors to make a podium play. Under 4m from the winner last start, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: GABBYS IDEAL (1), CANDYKANE (4), MILLIEWOOD (7), TINSEL TIARA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GABBYS IDEAL (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

DEVOUGED (5)
is still chasing his first win of the season but might just have found the right conditions to cash in here. Midfield form the pocket trail last start, he was just a neck away here four runs back and pressing forward can look to capitalise.

CALL ME TRISH (8) scored here four starts back in a similar race when sent forward from outside the front line and pull clear to a big 23m victory. Too far back last start when chasing as MACS A DUDE cashed in, she finds the right set up to claim another victory.

ROCCO VARIETY (3) has started from the stands at his past two when finishing down the line. Back to the mobile conditions, he is a podium player.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (9) was picking off some metres in the closing stages last time to grab the bronze. He will be chasing here but can be joining in again.

SELECTIONS: DEVOUGED (5), CALL ME TRISH (8), ROCCO VARIETY (3), CONVAIR HUSTLER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DEVOUGED (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

TODAYS HERO (8)
finished runner-up at Marburg two starts back when resuming from a spell, pressing forward from gate 4 to take control. Gunnd down over the closing stages, he was not that far away last start when trying to dictate and with the right trip, he can cash in here.

MACH TORQUE (5) started from behind the tapes last start in a Showcase Heat when finishing a long way from them. Chasing at Marburg the start prior, the gate stings but she finds a race to turn her fortunes.

COBBLER LANE (9) scored at Marburg four starts back when finishing over the top of them from the second line. Unplaced in all three since, this looks more suitable despite a tough gate.

CHANG (1) will strip fitter following his last start when resuming from a spell and striking trouble in the run. The gate is a huge plus.

SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (8), MACH TORQUE (5), COBBLER LANE (9), CHANG (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TODAYS HERO (8) to win

RACE NINE

CHAKANA (7)
will be relying on some factors to fall in her favour in the run and if they come, she can look to make the closing shot a winning one. Placed at her past two starts, the latest when 5m from FANTASY BLASTER over this trip, she can look to cash in.

NOTTA LOUCZAR (1) is still chasing a maiden breaking victory and tackles this up to two-win pace. Midfield last start behind PLAYBOY ROI over the AP mile, he grabbed a third at Marburg three starts back. The gate gives him the chance to challenge.

PABLOS ART (8) has now had two runs back from a spell and been faced with this same gate on both occasions. He can chime in against this opposition.

SLIP OF COLADA (3) was locked away last start when down the line as subsequent winner SCRUFFY proved too classy. He can be close enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: CHAKANA (7), NOTTA LOUCZAR (1), PABLOS ART (8), SLIP OF COLADA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAKANA (7) to win
