Race 1:
OVERVIEW: ANGELSHAVTIME (10) worked overtime last start and weakened out of it, but her prior form was solid for a race of this class and is very capable of bouncing back and fighting out the finish. ROCKAWAY BEACH (9) is better than his figure form suggests and will appreciate a good trailing draw and over the sprint trip. Definite chance. NOMORELYING (8) racing well and finished off strongly last start and just needs a few breaks to be a major winning hope. CHEVRON FLIES (2) wasn’t far way last start and working back into form. Must be respected. MICHEN ROY (5) tough pacer that might be suited here over this trip and front row draw and can make his presence felt. Not out of this. INTERPRETATION (7) suited class wise but draws wide. Just needs some luck to have claims. I OF THE HURRIKANE (1) BYRNSIDE BOOM (3) ROAM (4) ACE MONTANA (6) can improve and can’t be ignored.

Race 2:
OVERVIEW: CLARE FAVOURITE (10) interesting mare that is lightly raced and arriving here in Victoria for the talented and in form Rebecca Bartley. Recent wins at Leeton have been solid. Harder here but winning form is good form. Expect a strong showing. SASSY GABBY (6) nice win at her race debut and finished off very nicely. Nice type for trainer Susan Hunter and must be respected again. WARRIORESS (4) lightly raced pacer arriving from Tasmania and shows promise and has been placed in a recent trial at this track. Can run well. IM BUTTER BLUE (7) solid effort to win last start and shows good ability. Drawn wide but can run well again. ROCKET ME (8) is another last start winner that is showing ongoing improvement and has claim again. SOPHIES SCOOTER (9) fitter but has lost some of her good form but has raced against stronger company in the past and could easily bounce back here. Don’t dismiss. I LIKE WHAT I SEE (5) MUSSEL SHOALS (1) ALTA BAYAMO (3) MARAKO SHARK (2) are amongst the place and first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: LA FRANK (10) resumes from a break and was a last start winner. Quirky pacer but is one of the main chances here. MAJOR BERT (9) runner up at his past two starts and is amongst the chances again. IVE AN IDEA (5) a winner three starts ago and has claims here whilst EAGLE MAJOR (3) has been competitive in this class in the past and can run well. IDEN SIR FRANKIE (6) interesting runner arriving from Tasmania and was a winner in June 2023. Watch with interest. ON A NIGHT (4) STREETS OF MADRID (2) BLU MOON (1) ELYSIAN PALACE (8) SHES GOING PLACES (7) have claims in an open race of chances.

Race 4:
OVERVIEW: MID SUMMA (3) the emergency might gain a start and should be primed for this after two race starts and looks well placed and should prove hard to beat. IM ALL BUSINESS (9) started favourite and was narrowly beaten at his race debut and will have benefited from the race experience and expect a strong showing. A LOT LIKE PENDLES (10) is an improving type that will find this a suitable race and is amongst the chances. FIELD OF POPPIES (1) drawn well to receive every chance. VILLAGE SUSPECT (7) has been finishing just behind the placegetters and despite the wide draw is capable of being amongst them at the finish along with TREACHEROUS JEWEL (11). SHES MAGICAL (6) can keep improving whilst ROXELLA (4) is a first starter that must be kept safe. HELLODARLIN (2) and CRESCO BELLADONNA (5) are first four hopes.

OVERVIEW: GOOD TOBE LOCKSLEY (2) has been in great form and continues to step through the classes and from the draw is one of the main chances again. BELLA DANZA (1) resumes here from a spell but has shown good ability in the past and draws ideally for a strong first up showing. BETA THAN LOVE (8) very capable pacer that gets a very nice draw to enjoy a soft trip. If the breaks come his way, expect him to be striking late. Must include. VINSANITY (5) races very well at this track having won all four starts here from seven attempts. Must be respected again. LIKEABLE ROGUE (4) much better suited here than last start and can bounce back in this with a suitable trip. NIGHT SCHOOL (7) does have good ability when right, third up and ready to show improvement. Don’t ignore. Both CHIRRIPO (3) and KATHYS FREE (6) are place and first four chances.

LORIMERMAJOR (1) drawn to get an ideal trip and should be in primed position to strike. Definite chance. THAT MAJ YA LOOK (4) lightly raced and capable of improving in this. SCRITTORE (7) going well and despite the wide draw can fight out the finish. Both ROLLING REMONA (9) and OUR MYSTERY BET (6) are racing well and can make their presence felt again here. BERYLS GRIN (2) SON OF A BROAD (8) and WELL WELL (5) are place and first four hopes.

STRAIGHT TO THETOP (3) smart win last start and if she repeats that performance expect a bold showing. JANSU (5) has been in stellar form over recent months and no reason why she can’t run well again here. NIGHT SKY (2) MAJESTIC CHARMA (8) SONNUMBERONE (7) OUR SAFARI SUN (1) all have ability and can run well and being in the mix for place and first four chances.

TROTTERSMAKEMEGREY (3) should be improved by the race experience and capable of improving here. HEART OF GRACELAND (7) has been in the market in recent times and has claims.
