Form Analysis by Jamie Cockshutt
Hobart 29th November
We head to Hobart on Friday night for a handy seven event card.
Gotta Lockheed can atone for his defeat last week in this easier line up in race four.
Grove Dale can make a winning debut on the Apple Isle despite the tricky draw in the following race.
Iden Regal Wave can get punters off to a good start in race one.
Pretty keen on Rock the Tableau in the second race at e/w odds.
Iden Black Prince looks the best at odds of the night in race six.
Strawberry Bling looks well placed to send us home on a winning note in the last.
RACE 1: 17:35pm Cavalor Equicare Pace 1609m
The first of the night is for the 2yo’s and if there that’s due to win one its BOLT OF COBARGO (3) he will push forward early and if can’t cross will to settle leaders back and outsprint his rivals late. IDEN REGAL WAVE (1) should hold them out and will not get a better chance to breakthrough as this is his best draw for ages so looks hard to beat. OHANA BY THE SEA (4) will be looking to just behind the above two and have the last crack at them the question is does she have the speed to get over the top late. FANCY ANOTHER (2) is on debut so prefer to wait and see.
TOP PICK: Iden Regal Wave (1) looks the one to beat.
DANGERS: Bolt of Cobargo (3) looks the danger along with Ohana by the Sea (4).
ROUGHIE: Fancy Another (2) rounds out the field.

LIKELY LEADER: Iden Regal Wave should hold up early.
RACE 2: 18:15pm Smithawards Pace 2090m
This is for the 49-52 pacers and I have to stick with ROCK THE TABLEAU (2) as he should make his own luck from the draw and will take plenty of holding out. Stablemate HURRICANE ROCK (4) continues to hold his form and is suited by the small field so will be in the finish. MACH ANGELO (5) and GOBSMACKED (6) will be looking to get into the race at the halfway mark and are capable of winning of bring their best. RANIERI (3) is always a chance at odds in small fields so include.
TOP PICK: Rock the Tableau (2) happy to go with him.
DANGERS: Hurricane Rock (4) is a danger along with Gobsmacked (6).
ROUGHIE: Ranieri (3) sneaky chance.

HAY MIKI (1) has had his chance of late will do again from the pole so keep safe. SAPPHIRE GAMBLER (7) continues to hold his form and with a bit of luck from the draw will be in the finish again. OUR RUBY ROSE (4), MAYLEEJAE EAGLE (5) and LALIBELA (6) are a quartet capable if they bring their best so are a must for the exotic players to include.

LIKELY LEADER: Our Ruby Rose could have a look early at crossing Hay Miki.
RACE 4: 19:12pm Tasmanian Horse Transport Pace 2090m
This is for the pacers with no more than two lifetime wins. GOTTA LOCKHEED (7) had his chance at first local run but will find this easier and should bounce back into the winners list despite the wide draw. RESURGENT WARRIOR (6) has always showed ability and was a good winner last time so wouldn’t shock to see him go on with it here. KEAYANG KEVIN (8) has been close up of late and draws to push through early so that gives him a sneaky chance. SOHO UNDERTAKER (1) draws the pole so if can hold leaders back he has a great place chance. MORE THAN THIS (5) if repeats his effort of three starts back comes into calculations but a placing looks best as it does for FELLINKINDALUCKY (2) and SUE NIEN (3).

LIKELY LEADER: Feelinkindalucky will look to settle handy with Resurgent Warrior and Gotta Lockheed looking to push forward.
RACE 5: 19:41pm Ladbrokes Easy Form Pace 1609m
This is for the 40-44 rated pacers and it looks an open race. GROVE DALE (8) is the query as is first up for Dean Braun and wouldn’t be here if didn’t think he could win so despite the draw looks a major player. CARUSO STAR (3) was ok last start and has the draw to be on speed so will take holding out over the short trip. MISS COLLANN (4) has early speed so will push forward and this is a race that can figure in so include along with DEADLY ASSASSIN (2), LOU LOUS ALLGOLD (9), KIAVINO STRIDE (11) and CINOCAL JAMANE (12) who are all more than capable if the breaks come their way.

RACE 6: 20:11pm More Confidence Consulting Pace 1609m
This is for the 53-57 rated pacers and the consistent DONNY IN PARIS (1) looks a great e/w bet from the draw as will lead or sit leaders back so gets every chance. FIVE STAR SHARK (2) will have a good look at getting across and if does his chances are enhanced. SNEAKY PEAK (9) has a good trailing draw so will just behind the speed so look for him late. IDEN BLACK PRINCE (13) is the value paly as goes for young Grace so if gets cover into the race and close enough will go close. PUNTARNO STRIDE (5), YARECKON IM SWEET (6), LOYOLA TRIOS (10) and KERALA STAR (12) are a quartet to include for the wider exotic placings.
TOP PICK: Donny in Paris (1) looks the safest option.
DANGERS: Five Star Shark (2) is the danger along with Sneaky Peak (9).

SUGGESTED BET: Donny in Paris 2units win- Iden Black Prince 1unit win
EXOTIC BET: Boxed trifecta 1 2 5 9 10 13 $40 flexi 33.3% - 1-2 5 9 10 13-2 5 9 10 13 $10 flexi 50%
LIKELY LEADER: Donny in Paris will be looking to hold the Shark early.
RACE 7: 20:41pm Fehlbergs Produce Sprintlane Pace 2090m
The last of the night is for the up to 39 rated pacers. STRAWBERRY BLING (9) is working to a win and looks well placed here to do so as should push through and be close enough to get over the top of them late. MY ULTIMATE JACKO (5) if his in the right frame of mind he can take this out so has to be kept safe. ELENNA (3) could be first to the pegs and chance would be enhanced if that’s the case. TIGERLICIOUS (1) draws the pole so with cover early can poke through late at odds. BRIAN WHO (4), ROCK ON PLAYBOY (6), DAPPER (7) and ONEOFTHELADS (8) are a quartet are than capable if bring close to their best so wouldn’t shock.
TOP PICK: Strawberry Bling (9) can send us home on a winning note.
DANGERS: My Ultimate Jacko (5) is the danger along with Elenna (3).
ROUGHIE: Tigerlicious (1) sneaky place chance at odds.
RATINGS: 9-5-3 4 6 7 8-1 2
SUGGESTED BET: Strawberry Bling 3units win
EXOTIC BET: Trifecta 9-5-field $14 flexi 200%- 9-field-5 $14 flexi 200%
LIKELY LEADER: Elenna will be looking for the pegs but Rock on Playboy can cross them all if they push the button early.
