OVERVIEW: ANGELS WATCHING (2) is the first of a few interesting runners for Russell Jack and Zac Phillips and hasn’t had the best of luck to date so from the good draw he should be able to go close to breaking through. FLOJOS BEST (5) is out of Flojos Gold and is unbeaten from three at the trials. DANNY RAY (10) and MASON DIXON LINE (1) rate next best.

UBETONRED (3) continues to knock on the door and should go very close once more. NANNA HELEN (10) and MAGIC MATTY (9) rate next.

MEMPHIS BLASTER (8) is the intriguing runner first-up for Luke Watson from New Zealand and it will be interesting to see how he handles this track compared to Addington. AMERICAN BOXER (5) and IM ALRIGHT JACK (1) rate next.

OUR MASTER PLAY (6) should have won last week at Swan Hill and must have a big chance. AVOCA BLUES (5), AMYS BABY ANGEL (4) and OZZIE DAYBREAK (9) are the other main players.

She looks the one to beat but don’t dismiss the consistent YOU LITTLE TERROR (8) who will run his usual honest race. ALLSOPP (10) and KUHIO CREST (9) have good chances as well.

It will be interesting to see where he lands from the draw, but he must be given a big chance drawn on the pegs. As must GO AWAY AGAIN (1) on the strength of her August victory.
