As part of the Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) commitment to the Strategic Plan, a review of Breeding Incentives, Futurities and the Breeders Challenge is being undertaken to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of participants and supports the long-term growth of the industry.

In the coming month, HRNSW will engage with kindred bodies and key stakeholders to present and discuss several concepts for the Breeders Challenge.

To encourage broad participation and gather valuable input, HRNSW will host a series of consultation workshops, and we invite all industry personnel to attend, share their thoughts, and discuss the proposed concepts. The workshop dates and locations are as follows:

  • 28th October 6pm – Riverina Region, Wagga Paceway
  • 29th October 6pm – Western Districts, Bathurst Paceway
  • 4th November 6pm – Metropolitan Region, Penrith Paceway
  • 6th November 6pm – Hunter Region, Newcastle Paceway

Prior to these workshops, HRNSW will be meeting with Kindred Bodies to ensure their feedback is incorporated into the discussions.

We encourage all industry participants to attend these sessions and contribute to shaping the future of the Breeders Challenge Series. Should you have any questions or need further information, please contact the HRNSW office on (02) 9722 6600.

Kind regards,
Peter Buckman
CEO, Harness Racing NSW
