Zavitsanos makes his Major Eureka decision

Team Zav principal Danny Zavitsanos has selected the Emma Stewart-trained Major Delight to fill the camp’s slot for the 2024 TAB Eureka.

The four-year-old pacer has been in fine fettle, winning her last four starts including three of those at Menangle, the scene of the world’s richest harness race.

Tormey, Xiriha suffer breaks after bad fall at Bendigo trials
Drivers Ellen Tormey and Tony Xiriha are recovering in hospital after a horror fall at the Bendigo trials on Monday night. Tormey sustained a dislocated and fractured hip, broken ribs and a small tear in her lung while Xiriha sustained a broken collarbone as a result of the incident.
