Following the introduction of a lockdown for Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong those licensed Trainers, Drivers and Stablehands who reside within that zone MUST remain within the lockdown zone unless NSW Government exemptions apply.

Similarly, Trainers, Drivers and Stablehands who reside outside the lockdown zone MUST remain outside the lockdown zone unless NSW Government exemptions apply.

Consequently, to provide an opportunity for Trainers located outside the lockdown zone to compete at Metropolitan race meetings HRNSW is providing an option for any Trainer who is located outside of the lockdown zone to re-locate to Menangle Park Training Centre for the period of the lockdown.

It should be noted that there is a limitation on the number of stables available and applications will be considered on a first come first served basis.

It should also be noted that any Trainer wishing to avail themselves of this option will be required to remain in the lockdown zone for the remainder of the lockdown period, comply with NSW Government restrictions and will be responsible for their own living and accommodation expenses.

Any trainer wishing to make application should contact Shaun Snudden on 0418 785 367 or email ssnudden@hrnsw.com.au
