Amendments to Feature Race Programme
As a consequence of COVID-19 Harness Racing SA has reviewed its feature race calendar for the remainder of season. The major races set down for April and May being:
In making the decision to defer the Southern Cross Race Series the Board recognises the significant financial input of all who contribute to the series, through nomination and sustaining payments. However, if the series were to proceed as originally programmed then, given the current restrictions, this would result in a number of those horses eligible being effectively denied the opportunity to compete.
We regret the inconvenience caused resulting from this deferment however, given all circumstances it was impractical to continue with conducting the series as programmed.
