Captain Hammerhead 'good as gold' after Menangle scare

Captain Hammerhead is ‘as good as gold’ according to trainer David Moran after suffering an irregular heartbeat at Menangle last week.

The four-year-old was chasing one of the final Eureka spots in the Racenet Discovery Stakes – a race setup by the TAB to find a replacement runner to fill their slot, after initial pick Frankie Ferocious was withdrawn.
