Terasita has had five trainers in her short 20 start career, but it was the move to Tracy Reay’s care that has seen her blossom, with the three-year-old breaking through for her maiden win on Saturday night, at just her fourth start for the stable.

The Reay/Jelf camp took on the three-year-old filly after her last start at Pinjarra for Hayden Reeves back on the 24th of June, a decision made on a whim, but one they haven’t regretted.

Bred by KTC Bloodstock, Terasita was passed in at the 2022 APG Yearling sales, making her racing debut as a two-year-old, and after numerous stable changes in the past 17 months, she hadn’t finished any closer than third place before heading to Reay where she has now had four starts for a second placing and now the win in the $9,360 3YO Maiden at Narrogin.

From a social media post published on Sunday by KTC Bloodstock, Terasita became Foreclosure’s 19th individual winner from just 26 starters.

KTC Bloodstock are one of WA’s biggest breeders now and after speaking with Kody Charles, he has mentioned that they should have 24 yearlings on offer at next years 2025 APG Yearling Sales here in Perth, including 17 fillies and 7 colts.

They’ve bred numerous impressive types, including five over $500,000 earners since their inception, with WA star mare Wonderful To Fly boasting an impressive $742,477 in stakes.

Wonderful To Fly is by West Sire Fly Like An Eagle, and during her two and three-year-old seasons, earned her connections over $100,000 in double Westbred bonuses in her first two seasons.
