Harness Racing New South Wales is thrilled to announce that this year's Breeders Challenge Finals has reverted to a Sunday timeslot on October 29 at Club Menangle, marking another grand day in our racing calendar.

With an offering of more than $800,000 in prizemoney for participants, this special day is the result of a collaborative effort between HRNSW and Club Menangle.

The vision is to transform this into an industry day that extends beyond just the races with an aim to craft an inclusive atmosphere where our participants, their families and racegoers can all partake in the festivity.

Here's a glimpse of what to expect:

·       Aussie Night Markets with their bespoke array of gourmet street food;

·       Numerous activities tailored for children, ensuring they are entertained throughout;

·       Live on-course music to set the backdrop for a day of celebration;

·       And many more captivating activities awaiting your participation.

HRNSW Chief Executive Peter Buckman, is enthusiastic about transferring the Breeders Challenge Finals to its traditional Sunday timeslot.

"We are excited to be working closely with Club Menangle,” Buckman said.

“The recent Eureka event stands testament to the wonders we can achieve when we come together as a united front in our sport.

“A huge word of gratitude to Bruce Christison and his dedicated team for their unwavering support in making this possible.

"Our ambition is to rejuvenate the Breeders Challenge Finals Day as an industry-focused occasion where our stakeholders can relish a family-oriented day on the beautiful lawns at Club Menangle.

“It's about our racing community, the sport, and fostering connections.

“We cordially invite each one of you to be a part of this momentous day.

“Your presence and support will undoubtedly make this day a memorable one,” Buckman concluded.
