The Chief Operating Officer at the Albion Park Harness Racing Club, Chris Bombolas, has stepped down for personal reasons.

After joining The Creek in October 2022, the man known as ‘Bomber’ has decided to transition to retirement and spend more time with his family.

Albion Park Harness Racing Chairman Brad Steele thanked ‘Bomber’ for his efforts in the key executive role.

“Passionate about harness racing, Chris gave it his all at The Creek and will be missed,” Steele said.

“However, as the harness family knows, being around your loved ones is important and Bomber was keen to adjust his work and life balance.

“On a positive note, Chris won’t be completely lost to the industry.

“After a spell, he plans to do some contract work for the club, using his skills in media, marketing and communications.

“We wish Chris and his family all the best into the future.”
