Alex Ashwood stable representative forKate Hargreaves, trainer of Dream Asset, advised blood test results failed to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Ashwood advised Dream Asset has been subsequently sold since the event.

RACE 8 – R & L EMERSON PRINTING PACE (2190 MS)
Chris Svanosio, trainer of Rueslan, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Svanosio advised he will continue with the current preparation and Rueslan would not start again until he was satisfied the gelding would compete in a competitive manner.

RACE 6 –BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS PACE (1720 MS)
Kerryn Manning, trainer of Yankee Lincoln NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily and blood tests failing to reveal any abnormalities. Ms Manning advised she will continue with the current preparation.
RACE 6 –NUTRIEN EQUINE YEARLING SALE 10TH & 11TH APRIL PACE (1720 MS)
Chris Lang, trainer of Soextra, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily with blood tests and a full veterinary examination failing to reveal any abnormalities. Mr Lang advised he was a loss to explain the performance and he would continue with the current preparation and Soextra would not start until he was fully satisfied the gelding would perform in a more competitive manner.

RACE 7 – THE DOWNTOWNER WARRAGUL PACING BOWL CUP (GROUP 3) (2627 MS)
Greg Sugars stable representative for Jess Tubbs, trainer of Triple Eight NZ, advised subsequently from the event the gelding to have recovered satisfactorily. Mr Sugars attributed the performance to the gelding possibly choking down. Mr Sugars advised Triple Eight NZ has been sent for a spell.
