Harness Racing SA is pleased to announce that following the great success of the 2017 `Return to Wayville’ race meeting of October 2017 it has secured the date of Friday 13th December 2019 for harness racing once again to be conducted at the unique and iconic Wayville Showgrounds.

Those who were fortunate to attend the 2017 race meeting were treated to an outstanding display of racing at a facility of which there is little equal anywhere in the harness racing world. The distinctively colosseum type atmosphere of the Showgrounds, and the closeness of the racing action, enables patrons to virtually interact with the horses and their drivers.

December’s meeting promises to again be a spectacular occasion, showcasing the harness racing industry and bringing the `trots’ back to the people.

The race meeting will also provide a platform for raising mental health awareness in the community, and to this end HRSA will be partnering with not-for-profit organisations who supply much needed support to those in need.

The timing of this year’s event also offers those contemplating their festive season functions with an opportunity to gather and enjoy quality hospitality with the added attraction of high-class harness racing entertainment. The theme for the evening being `Black Friday Bash

Similar to the 2017 meeting all races will be conducted as standing starts and limited to eight runners.

Please lock in the date and come to Wayville for what promises to again be another great night of harness racing.
