The 2017 Brisbane winter carnival officially starts this Saturday night.

And the Albion Park Harness Racing Club will play host to a strong ten race program this Saturday night.

Feature events include the Listed $25,000 Mr Feelgood Open Pace, Gr.3 $30,000 Ted & Edna Badcock Memorial 4yo Championship, the Gr.3 $30,000 Badcock Group Premiers Cup and the Listed $25,000 Egmont Park Stud Provincial Oaks.

The opening race has attracted an even field of 12 pacers with several in-form runners set to contest the UBET Pace over the 1660m.

Gambling giant UBET are offering several jackpots throughout the program including a guaranteed $50,000 First 4 pool on the opening race plus a $10,000 jackpot.

Former Queensland Pacing Championship winner Our Hi Jinx resumes for trainer Ian Gurney and lands the coveted inside gate while emerging star Major Cam will appreciate a front-line draw after being caught well back in the field last week.

Others to consider include Feel The Courage, Lamorak, Zac Mac, Remember Them and Lancelot Bromac.

The $15,540 Kevin & Kay Seymour Rising Stars Championship also looks an extremely open affair following the barrier draw.

Heat winners on Tuesday were Bettabe Perfect and Written In Red while others to be considered include Village Witch, Subtle Advice, Floyd Mayweather and Major Coup among others.

The Rising Stars Finals is listed as race 2 on the card.

A guaranteed Quadrella pool of $15,000 is also slated; the quaddie will be staged on races 2, 3, 4 & 5.

And a treble jackpot of $5000 is also listed – the treble will be held on races 3, 4 & 5.

UBET have also slated $1000 jackpot First 4 pools on races 3 through to 10.
