Noel Shinn, trainer’s representative of Shez Sugarsweet, has advised that the stable attribute the performance to Shez Sugarsweet to the filly failing to handle the travel to Victoria and the unfamiliar surroundings.
RACE 7 - IRT BREEDERS CROWN SERIES 18 (3YO COLTS & GELDINGS) (1ST SEMI-FINAL) (2150 MS)
Robert Dunn, trainer of Franco Cristiano NZ, has reported that blood tests taken from the gelding subsequent to the event have failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Mr Dunn explained that he attributed the performance to Franco Cristiano NZ being obliged to improve three wide on two occasions throughout the event. Mr Dunn further explained he has altered the gelding’s shoeing slightly with Franco Cristiano NZ working well this morning.
