Beautide - 2015 Australian Harness Horse of the Year

Following another great season, Beautide (Bettors Delight USA – Gorse Bush), was today announced the 2015 Australian Harness Horse of the Year.   This is the second consecutive year he has won this coveted award. Second by just a solitary vote, was star three year old Menin Gate.

During the 2014/2015 season the gelding raced 10 times for 5 wins and 3 placings. Group level successes include the Inter Dominion Grand Final and the Coca Cola Amatil Sprint   - amassing $681,375 in stakemoney along the way.  

Trained and driven by James Rattray and owned by the Rattray Family Trust, Beautide’s lifetime statistics stand at 74 starts 45 wins 18 placings for $2,020,212.

The HRA Australian Horse of the Year Awards are voted upon by over 60 judges including media and administrators spread across the country.
