Cocky Raider returns to after winning the Australia Day Cup with Gordon McWilliam in the sulky
Gordon McWilliam, the man who drove Cocky Raider to victory over Lucky Creed in the 1970 Australia Day Cup at Harold Park has passed away at the age of 84. There will be a memorial service for Mr McWilliam at the Bathurst Harness Racing Club on Monday August 31 beginning at midday. HRNSW passes on its condolences to his family at this tough time.
Harness Racing NSW (HRNSW) is the controlling body for harness racing in New South Wales with responsibility for commercial and regulatory management of the industry including 31 racing clubs across the State.
