HRA Industry Notice - Hendra Virus Update

Following confirmation of a horse found to be positive to Hendra Virus near Beaudesert in Queensland, Biosecurity Queensland have issued the attached Biosecurity Alert.

HRA understands that the affected horse was exposed to 5 other horses, all of which were non-racing.  Those horses are now being tested and have not themselves been exposed to any other horses.
