 Vancleve Awards - Trotters

  VANCLEVE (1871)
Was a one time holder of the Australian mile record for trotters.  Vancleve later sired the immortal FRITZ (TR TT2:13), an all time
trotting champion.  Vancleve's progeny won him siring titles in Australia and New Zealand, a remarkable feat considering he did
not stand at stud in New Zealand.

               From 2011, the Overall Trotter of the Year, 2YO and 3YO Trotter of the Year Awards were discontinued.  The Aged Awards maintained the Mare category and introduced a Aged Horse of the Year.  
               Also in 2011, the 2YO and 3YO Awards introduced Colt and Filly categories.
               In 2012 the overall Australian Trotter of the Year was reintroduced.
