BLACKS A FAKE
2008 Australian Harness Horse of the YearThe
mighty Queensland pacer Blacks A Fake, winner of the past three Inter
Dominion Pacing Championships, is the Australian Harness Horse of the Year.
Blacks A Fake, trained and driven by Natalie Rasmussen, was a clear winner
of the Horse of the Year title in the Australian Harness Racing Awards for
the 2007/2008 Season, voted by media representatives.
It
was a memorable season for the brilliant gelding. A highlight was a record
breaking win in the Group One Hunter Cup at Moonee Valley in early February,
but this was bettered at the same track four weeks later when Blacks A Fake
took out his third Inter Dominion final.
It is
the second successive Australian Harness Horse of the Year Award for Blacks
A Fake. He has also clinched his third straight Aged Pacer and Aged
Horse/Gelding Pacer of the Year awards. |
