Superstar pacers Im Themightyquinn, Smoken Up and Auckland Reactor remain undefeated after the 2nd round of heats of the V75 Inter Dominion were conducted at Gloucester Park.

‘Quinny’, the hometown hero was effortless in winning, although there was a much more anxious wait for driver Gary Hall Jr., who pushed out under Dasher VC in a race winning move. Hall was later cleared after a lengthy Steward’s inquiry and will be in the sulky again Friday night for the third and final round of qualifying heats.

Smoken Up was tradesman liked in his victory; while Auckland Reactor led all-the-way with the big shock of the race being Washakie, who after a Gallant second on Friday night, finished at the tail of the field behind Auckland Reactor.

Raglan bounced back into Grand Final calculations with a dominant performance to win the other heat.
